Yung Starr was born in Knoxville, TN in the year of 1991. He is second oldest of 5 kids and was born to Gary Goley and Lasonya Walker. Starr moved to Athens when he was 6 years old and has lived there ever since. Starr has always had a major passion for music. He started rapping at the early age of 8, were he made the decision that this would be his career. Starr set off for the next 9 years to make a name for his self. It wasn't until summer of 2009 that Starr thought of getting him self a manager, William "Doc" Goley who is also Starr’s older cousin. Starr linked up with some of his other family Tyhem Smith aka “Yung Shyn” and Selton Cobb aka “Young Soulja” to form the group Swag Boyz. This is just the beginning for this young aspiring entrepreneur. Starr also has passion for dancing and acting, which he hopes to pursue sometime in his career.
